A Sustainable Community Regeneration Arts Project In Action.

Hello and welcome to the 491 Gallery project website.

We are a creative organisation working with the community at a grass roots level, we are a space to create, perform and exhibit in.

With an ethos that embraces sustainability, recycling and a good bit of old fashioned elbow grease, the 491 Gallery project is a explosion of creativity in these now regenerated, but once feared, derelict and mis-used buildings in east London.

The 491 Gallery is self supported by kind donation, and has never been externally funded. We run as a members community.

The 491 Gallery has a whole lot of great creative goings on's this year. With new regular workshops & a very busy exhibition schedual, there is always something going on at 491....

The 491 Gallery project creative team.

If you would like to talk to us about exhibitions, workshops & more you need to talk to one of the creative project team.

We help organise the creative out-put of the project: exhibitions, workshops, events etc. Not forgetting the new creative input that is always bursting through the doors.
