Sept 26th: Vertigo gets a new lick of paint.
The Vertigo project building front got a new coat of paint this weekend giving the building a very smart appearance. It was painted white with the black detail painted in around the windows. 2 afternoons work jot the job done.

Sept 19th: New window for attic room.
A new window / windox box has been constructed in the new attic room that resident artist Palbo Auton will be using as an art room while staying at the project.
Its was built by using recycled materials, some of which were found here within the projects walls. 2 days work went into making the window / window box.

Sept 8th: Shower re-grouting & sealing.
The shower room was re-grouted & re-sealed making it water proof again. It was an afternoons work & the shower was up & running again within 24 hours.

Sept 2nd: A new water saving toilet in 491.
A new water saving toilet was installed in the up-stairs w.c. with gallery donations money. It has a half & full flush option which the old toilet did not have. It took a days work all in & the results were great! Volunteer work taken on kindly by Roddy.
June: Disabled Access at the 491 Gallery.
Something long planned and talked about has become a
reality; the ground floor of the 491 Gallery is fully accessible to wheelchair
users and those with limited mobility. (more)
June: The rewiring of the shower at 491.
The huge cable needed to re-wire the only shower in the 491 Gallery & the Vertigo buildings was purchaced with gallery donations money. And an afternoons volunteer work installing the cable. Volunteer work taken on kindly by Steve & Paul.
